It would be great to aggregate statistics for an assigned tag (ex. How much time was spent of tasks given a certain tag, how many tasks assigned a tag are open and complete, etc), and for sets of tags (ex. tasks assigned tag1 AND tag2, tasks assigned tag1 OR tag 2, tasks assigned (tag1 AND tag2) OR tag2.

Sounds like a useful feature, but also a tricky one to implement.

I'd be happy to consider a PR for this 👍

It would also be useful to be able to get the count of certain tags in the project statistics. For example, if I have two of five tasks with tag1, the project statistics could show Project: (pending - 5, tag1 - 2).

Issue #81 is implemented on develop by merged PR #236. Tag-scoped statistics support counts, estimates, elapsed time, and AND/OR tag selectors in project and status-bar templates. The README documents [tag:selector:metric] usage.

Verified on current upstream/develop: npm run check passed (typecheck, 415 tests, webpack compile, and format check), and git diff --check passed. Please close the issue if this meets the request.
