Light previously needed dependency installation, a native audio build, and a user service before it could run. Version 0.7.0 ships the readable JavaScript runtime and starts one shell-managed backend when its widgets load, supporting the standard Omarchy add-and-enable command.

Keyboard shortcuts remain available as session bindings, including collision checks and recovery after compositor reloads. Sign-in registers a persistent OAuth callback bridge on demand and preserves the previous handler. Local API authentication remains mandatory. Standard Qt radio playback works immediately; advanced meters, waveform, and scratching remain optional native enhancements.

Validation: 99 tests pass on Node 22 and the local runtime; dependency audit reports zero vulnerabilities; QML lint and real Qt playback pass with and without the optional native module; multiple widgets share one backend and release it on unload. CI also checks that committed bundles match source. Live sign-in with the remote provider has not been performed.

Existing installations can reuse their running backend; documented retirement of the legacy service is optional. Marketplace standard installation still needs the moderator's approval of the exact published commit.
