Consolidates the previously-scattered lineage (the v3.9 'steal-from-others' survey, README differentiation, cognee assessment) into one acknowledgments file that also serves as a watchlist: the survey is 6+ months stale, so it flags the original 6 projects for re-read and adds new candidates to evaluate (DeusData/codebase-memory-mcp, ~20.9k stars). Key: - corrected upstreams (gbrain=garrytan, graphify=safishamsi, GitNexus=abhigyanpatwari, My-Brain=gnekt; the wolverin0 URLs were fabricated) - claude-mem relicensed AGPL->Apache-2.0 @v13.0 - top steal candidates: RRF (convergent gbrain+GitNexus), cross-encoder rerank, Leiden/Louvain community detection, bitemporal write-guard - positioning sharpened: govern-claims is the wedge (vector-store strawman is dead) - adds artifacts/steal-from-others-2026-06-24.md (tracked despite artifacts/ ignore)
