sdk-v0.135.0

Features

  • api: add between_tools to thinking types in model capabilities
  • api: add the speed parameter and usage.speed to Messages
  • api: return a Console organization's usage-tier spend cap as a read-only spend limit

Bug Fixes

  • client: close streams dropped without being read to the end
  • client: keep an unread JSONL response open while it is held

Chores

  • ci: speed up breaking change detection
  • docs: describe headers on Managed Agents and telemetry endpoints

Documentation

  • api: note that some models need a beta header to use speed

sdk-v0.134.0

Features

  • api: add execution_identity to Managed Agents agents

  • api: add organization_type_not_supported error to spend limit lists

  • api: add telemetry destination test endpoint

  • api: add telemetry destinations to the Admin API

  • client: add native support for OpenTelemetry tracing

    If your app registers a global tracer provider, the SDK will create spans with it after upgrading, and they'll be exported with the rest of your traces. Requests will also get trace context headers from the global propagator. To disable, pass openTelemetry: false to the client or set ANTHROPIC_OPEN_TELEMETRY=false. Learn more in the documentation.

Bug Fixes

  • api: rename telemetry destination test response model
  • client: close an unread stream that was dropped while tracing is on
  • client: don't follow redirects on token requests
  • client: treat proxy-authorization as a sensitive header

Bug Fixes

  • streaming: tolerate unknown event types in MessageStream and BetaMessageStream
  • streaming: stop throwing "Unexpected event order" for an event before message_start
  • streaming: yield events that arrive before message_start when iterating MessageStream and BetaMessageStream

Updates wrangler from 4.149.0 to 4.151.1

Release notes

Sourced from wrangler's releases.

wrangler@4.151.1

Patch Changes

  • #15541 e13d5cc Thanks @mack-erel! - Keep remote dev sessions alive through transient network failures

    wrangler dev --remote and getPlatformProxy() refresh their preview token before it expires, but a single failed refresh — for example while the network was briefly down — stopped refreshing for good, leaving the session broken until restart. A failed refresh now retries every minute until it succeeds. Rebuilds also no longer push the refresh past the session's expiry.

  • #16284 42c6912 Thanks @karloper! - Fix wrangler rollback reporting success after the changed secrets confirmation is declined

    Previously, declining the "The following secrets have changed…" confirmation printed "Aborting rollback..." and then also printed a success message and the target version as the "Current Version ID", even though no deployment was made and the original version was still live. Wrangler now stops after aborting, so the output matches what is actually deployed.

  • #13742 4a5377f Thanks @edmundhung! - Hide the wrangler dev hotkey bar when Turborepo does not forward input

  • Updated dependencies [e1d1b77]:

wrangler@4.151.0

Minor Changes

  • #16245 d6b1c82 Thanks @WalshyDev! - Include source maps by default in wrangler build --experimental-cf-build-output

    Build Output now matches wrangler deploy and wrangler versions upload, which upload source maps by default, so Workers built for tools like cf get stack traces that point at the original source. Source maps that can't be resolved are skipped rather than failing the build. Set upload_source_maps = false to opt out.

Patch Changes

  • #16220 97b2fb1 Thanks @FlorentCollin! - Support local D1 queries through the experimental d1_binding_jsrpc compatibility flag

    Local D1 bindings now implement the RPC query backend used by D1Database.query() and prepared-statement methods when the flag is enabled. Queries reuse local SQLite execution, including transactional batches, execution metadata, and session bookmarks, while bindings without the flag continue to use HTTP. Update the bundled workerd runtime to 1.20261012.1 and align the default compatibility date with that release.

  • Updated dependencies [f360829, 97b2fb1, 97b2fb1, acd2822]:

wrangler@4.150.0

Minor Changes

  • #16231 091e5ec Thanks @WalshyDev! - Upload source maps by default for wrangler deploy, wrangler versions upload and wrangler preview

    When upload_source_maps isn't set in config or via --upload-source-maps, Wrangler now generates and uploads source maps so stack traces in logs and wrangler tail point at your original source without extra setup. In this default mode, source maps that can't be resolved (for example inline data: maps or missing .map files from a custom build) are skipped rather than failing the upload. Setting upload_source_maps = true keeps the existing strict behaviour, and upload_source_maps = false (or --no-upload-source-maps for deploy and versions upload) opts out.

    wrangler build --experimental-cf-build-output is unchanged and still only includes source maps when upload_source_maps = true.

  • #16128 daae435 Thanks @redsteadz! - Stop wrangler deploy, wrangler versions upload and wrangler preview in projects that build for the Cloudflare CLI (cf)

    If your project builds through cf, deploying it with Wrangler reads a different configuration, so it could update the wrong Worker or fail without explaining why. These commands now stop before uploading anything, name the .cloudflare/output directory they found, and tell you to run cf deploy instead. If that directory is just left over from an earlier build, deleting it restores the Wrangler workflow.

    Ordinary Wrangler projects are unaffected, and --dry-run still works on deploy and versions upload. This is a new guard for the experimental Build Output Specification rather than a fix, and it gives three stable commands a failure mode they did not have before, so it is a minor.

Closes #309

## Summary

Clears the OSV-Scanner findings that fail `osv-scanner / osv-scan` on
both open Dependabot PRs (#307, #308), and that would fail it on `main`
at its next run. All the advisories were published 2026-10-20 to
2026-10-23. Lockfiles, one override pin, and a raised `fastmcp` floor
for `yea-mcp`. No other range changes, and no scanner ignores.

```diff
 yea-site > vitepress (override vite ^6.4.3), vitest
-  vite 6.4.3            # 5 advisories (launch-editor command exec / fs.allow bypass), High
+  vite 6.4.5            # npm update vite
 yea-demo-worker > wrangler > miniflare (pins undici 7.29.1 exactly)
-  overrides.undici "7.29.1"   # GHSA-xjj6-f33q-929c (High), GHSA-4qv8-2p9j-2685, GHSA-f72v-6w45-q472
+  overrides.undici "7.30.1"
 python/mcp (fastmcp>=4.0.10,<5 extra)
-  fastmcp, fastmcp-slim 4.0.10   # GHSA-7xgj-8392-5q4r, GHSA-vqqp-x5qm-5qp4
+  fastmcp, fastmcp-slim 4.1.3
-  opentelemetry-api 1.45.0       # GHSA-xcq7-p3pf-p88h
+  opentelemetry-api 1.45.1
```

- **vite**: npm resolves 6.4.5 (2026-10-21), one patch past the 6.4.4
fix. It was published from vite's GitHub Actions with provenance.
- **undici**: miniflare still pins 7.29.1 exactly, so the override from
#185 moves to 7.30.1 (2026-10-15, published with provenance).
- **python/mcp/uv.lock**: `uv lock --upgrade-package fastmcp
--upgrade-package fastmcp-slim --upgrade-package opentelemetry-api`.
fastmcp 4.1.3 also pulls in `certifi` and `openapi-pydantic` 0.5.1 →
0.6.0, and on Python 3.15 only, `beartype` 0.23.1 (hence the new `>=
'3.15'` resolution marker).

- **fastmcp floor**: `yea-mcp[fastmcp]` (and the dev group) now require
`fastmcp>=4.1.2,<5`, the first release with both fixes, so an install
can't resolve a vulnerable version. `docs/framework/SPEC-mcp-py.md`
states the new floor. Its line recording the versions the SDK facts were
checked against (`fastmcp` 4.0.10) stays, because that records history.

I wrote the npm lockfile with npm 11.21.1, so the diff holds only the
vite and undici entries.

## Evidence

- **Before** (`origin/main`, `osv-scanner scan source -r .`, v2.7.0): 13
vulnerabilities in 5 packages (vite ×5, undici ×3, fastmcp ×2,
fastmcp-slim ×2, opentelemetry-api ×1).
  **After** (this branch, same command):
  ```
  No issues found
  ```
- `npm ls vite` shows only vite@6.4.5.

Checks run locally after a fresh `npm ci` from the new lockfile, which
left the lockfile unchanged: `npm run lint`, `npm run lint:style`, `npm
run lint:structure`, `npm run build`, `npm test` (all pass; 5 skipped by
existing `skipIf` guards), `npm run site` (builds), `wrangler deploy
--dry-run` for `deploy/demo` (bundles), `uv run pytest` in `python/`
(883 passed) and `uv run --all-extras pytest` in `python/mcp` (165
passed, run again after the floor change).

## Merge danger
**Door:** two-way

Reverting restores the old lockfiles and pin. Nothing on the wire, in
Lens output or in a published package's API changes. The one
published-metadata change is `yea-mcp[fastmcp]`'s `fastmcp` floor
(4.0.10 → 4.1.2). That's a tighter dependency range, not an API change,
and yea-mcp has no users yet.

**Blast radius:** dev tooling and CI only. That covers the site build
and vitest (vite), `wrangler dev`/`deploy` for `deploy/demo` (undici
under miniflare), and the `python/mcp` test environment (fastmcp). The
TS SDK keeps zero runtime dependencies.

Looks like these dependencies are updatable in another way, so this is no longer needed.
