| - `upload --adjust` - Adjust the uploaded file to the platforms' limits (videos scaled to 1080p and re-encoded to H.264 MP4 with AAC audio, oversized images scaled down). Off by default. The returned `path` is usable right away and the adjusted file replaces it when done. | ||
| - `media:status <id>` - Check a file uploaded with `--adjust` via `GET /public/v1/media/:id/status`: `processing` until the adjusted file is in place, `ready` after, and `ready` with a `warning` when the adjustment failed and the original is kept. |

Hold the release until the media-status endpoint is deployed.
media:status calls PostizAPI.getMediaStatus. The default production API currently returns 404 Not Found for this endpoint. The command catches that error and calls process.exit(1), so the documented workflow fails before backend deployment. Deploy the backend endpoint before releasing these client and documentation changes.

Agreed. That's why the PR description says not to merge it until gitroomhq/postiz-app#2281 is deployed.

@giladresisi You're right. The PR description already states the deployment gate; I missed that context. No additional code change is needed for this finding. Deployment of gitroomhq/postiz-app#2281 remains unverified here and is still a prerequisite for merging.

A post published while an adjusted upload is still processing uses the original file, so the path is not usable right away with adjust. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

--adjustis ignored andmedia:statushits a non-existent endpoint.Adds CLI and skill support for the opt-in adjust flag from gitroomhq/postiz-app#2281, which lets customers adjust uploaded media to the platforms' limits through the public API, the CLI and the MCP, like the web app already does for every upload.
postiz upload <file> --adjust(off by default): sendsadjust=truewith the upload, so videos are scaled to 1080p and re-encoded to H.264 MP4 with AAC audio and oversized images are scaled down.
