Summary

build · test · clippy (rhodibot) fails on main and on every PR in its first step, scripts/check-canon-drift.sh. The cause is that standards' .machine_readable/template-capability-gates.toml changed upstream without a version bump: it still says 0.3.0, but its sha256 moved from e70efd2f… to 2f31f46d….

Following the script's re-pin steps:

  • The table is copied verbatim into bots/rhodibot/canon/.
  • In pin.toml, [gates] sha256 and pinned are updated, with a note that the digest moved while the version did not.
  • The known/presets counts are unchanged, and the shape test passes on them.

What this changes in what rhodibot measures (please review)

  • Wider required-file alternations. Every new spelling counts as conforming:
    • .adoc community files, including standards' 3-practice/ directory;
    • 0-AI-MANIFEST.deed;
    • www/.well-known/.
  • Depth-anchored Rust module rows. <crate>/Cargo.toml and **/src/**/*.rs now count, so cargo workspaces are recognised.
  • reproducible-build: flake.nix is dropped (Nix is retired) and manifest.scm is added. A repository whose only build file is flake.nix no longer satisfies this gate.
  • A rust-ci reusable-workflow mapping is added.

Validation

  • check-canon-drift.sh reports -> ok. The standards canon.lock records the same hash for both slots.
  • In bots/rhodibot, cargo test --locked passes: 195 tests across 5 binaries, including the canon shape tests.
  • cargo clippy --locked --all-targets -- -D warnings is clean, and cargo fmt --check is clean.

standards' template-capability-gates.toml changed upstream without a
version bump (still 0.3.0), so check-canon-drift.sh failed the rhodibot
CI job on main and on every PR. Copied verbatim and re-pinned by digest;
the standards canon.lock records the same hash.

What changes in what rhodibot measures:
- required-file alternations widen (each new spelling conforms): .adoc
  community files incl. standards' 3-practice/ district,
  0-AI-MANIFEST.deed, www/.well-known/;
- rust module paths are depth-anchored, so cargo workspaces
  (<crate>/Cargo.toml, <crate>/src/**) are recognised;
- reproducible-build drops flake.nix (Nix retired) and adds manifest.scm:
  a repo with only flake.nix no longer satisfies that gate.
known/presets counts are unchanged (shape test passes).

On this head, build · test · clippy (rhodibot) now passes, so the re-pin worked in CI. The only red check is GSBot build, tests and dependency security. That check is red on main too, from the RUSTSEC advisories that #624 fixes; this diff doesn't touch gsbot. I kept the two fixes separate, as the owner chose. All other checks are green.

P2 Badge Apply the newly accepted baseline alternatives

The new alternatives are never consulted by the canon report: GateTable::parse discards [baseline], while CanonReport continues deriving paths solely from the unchanged criteria descriptions. Consequently, repositories using only newly conforming spellings such as CODE_OF_CONDUCT.adoc, 0-AI-MANIFEST.deed, or www/.well-known/ are still reported as missing/nonconforming (the existing report test even asserts that CODE_OF_CONDUCT.adoc is missing), so this re-pin does not deliver the conformance behavior encoded here; parse and apply these alternatives when evaluating file requirements.
